THE CORPORATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED ON NOVEMBER 9, 1970, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF COLORADO. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 383-UNIT COMMUNITY LOCATED IN DENVER, COLORADO WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING AND RELATED SERVICES FOR ELDERLY, LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME PERSONS. THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE AND A MORTGAGE INSURED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 236 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED. THE CORPORATION ALSO RECEIVED GRANTS FROM THE CITY OF DENVER AND OTHER SOURCES TO ASSIST IN ITS PURPOSE.
