PRODUCER RELATIONS & INDUSTRY IMAGE AND RELATIONS PROGRAMS TO SUPPORT THE NATIONAL AND REGIONAL NON BRANDED DAIRY PROMOTION PROGRAM WDA IS DEDICATED TO GAINING THE PUBLIC TRUST AND ENHANCING DAIRYS IMAGE BY SHOWCASING THE VALUE OF HAVING A "BEST IN CLASS" DAIRY INDUSTRY IN THE REGION. CHILD NUTRITION AND FITNESS PROGRAM DEDICATED TO SCHOOLS IN THE WESTERN DAIRY ASSOCIATION MARKET STATES TO ENHANCE THE HEALTH AND NUTRITION OF CHILDREN IN SCHOOL. FUEL UP TO PLAY 60 (FUTP60) IS DESIGNED TO BUILD ON EXISTING NATIONAL DAIRY COUNCIL HEALTH AND NUTRITION PROGRAMS. THE PROGRAM IS WELL-RECEIVED AS IT HELPS SCHOOLS MEET BASIC NEEDS AND REACH WIDER WELLNESS GOALS. FOR DAIRY, IT MAKES PROGRESS TOWARD DAIRY PRODUCT ACCESS IN SCHOOLS. FUTP60'S INITIAL SUCCESSES HAVE ATTRACTED SUPPORT FROM USDA, MULTIPLE HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS, MEDIA, AND KEY CORPORATIONS. ULTIMATELY, FUTP60 WILL FURTHER CEMENT DAIRY'S LEADERSHIP AROUND THE CHILDRENS HEALTH; MEASURABLY ADVANCE THE HEALTH AND WELLNESS OF AMERICA'S YOUTH; AND ESTABLISH LIFELONG DAIRY CONSUMERS.
