WITH THE DUES COLLECTED FROM ITS MEMBERS BY A SPECIAL WORKING ASSESSMENT, THE UNION TARGETS CERTAIN JOBS WITH A PAYMENT TO CONTRACTORS TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL INCENTIVES & TO PROVIDE WORK FOR ITS MEMBERS.


THE UNION REPRESENTS ITS MEMBERS IN WAGE AND BENEFIT NEGOTIATIONS, RESOLVES WORK QUESTIONS AND IMPROVES THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ITS MEMBERS. THE UNION ALSO DISTRIBUTES FUNDS TO MEMBERS THAT HAVE FINANCIAL DISTRESS AND ARE IN NEED OF ASSISTANCE AS DETERMINED BY THE UNION'S EXECUTIVE BOARD.
