DURING 2019 THE CORTEZ VETERANS INC PROVIDED ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT TO VETERANS IN NEED. SUPPORT INCLUDED FOOD, LODGING, AND THE USE OF FACILITIES TO CONDUCT SIX FUNERALS AND TWO REUNIONS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDED A PLACE FOR THE LOCAL CIVIL AIR PATROL AND THE AMERICAN LEGION TO GATHER AND CONDUCT MONTHLY MEETINGS. TO HONOR VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES, THE ORGANIZATION HOSTED A FLAG RETIREMENT CEREMONY AND TWO SEPERATE BREAKFAST EVENTS ON MEMORIAL AND VETERANS DAY.
