SINGER SANCTUARY'S MAIN PURPOSE IS TO RESCUE ABUSED AND NEGLECTED ANIMALS AND TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE PLIGHT OF ANIMALS ON FARMS, IN LABS, AT ZOOS, SHELTERS, AND SO ON. THE SANCTUARY HAS SUPPORTED BETWEEN 20 TO 30 (SOMETIMES EVEN MORE) ANIMALS WITHIN THE YEAR. SOME OF THE SERVICES THE ORGANIZATION PARTICIPATES IN ARE:- PRIVATE TOURS FOR THE PUBLIC, SCHOOL FIELD TRIP VISITS AND PRIVATE PARTIES WHICH INCLUDE TOURS OF THE SANCTUARY, MEETING THE ANIMALS AND HEARING THEIR STORIES. - SINGER SANCTUARY ALSO OFFERS VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL STUDENTS WHERE THEY HELP CARE FOR THE ANIMALS, WORK ON THE GARDENING/IRRIGATION SYSTEMS, AND ASSIST IN FUNDRAISING USING SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS.- A GIRL SCOUT TROOP VISITED THE SANCTUARY AND THE SCOUTS PARTICIPATED IN A SERVICE PROJECT TO EARN A BADGE.- HOSTED NEIGHBORHOOD POTLUCK DINNERS THAT INCLUDED A SANCTUARY TOUR, MEETING THE ANIMALS, HEARING THEIR STORIES, AND BRAINSTORMING WAYS THE ORGANIZATION CAN EDUCATE PEOPLE AND SAVE MORE ANIMALS.
