TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TO OLDER ADULTS AND ACCESS TO HOME AND COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
LQL OPERATES STEEPLE VIEW LOFTS, WHICH PROVIDES 42 RESIDENTS WITH HOUSING IN THE HEART OF LANCASTER CITY AT AN AFFORDABLE RATE.LQL CURRENTLY HAS THREE PROJECTS UNDER DEVELOPMENT. LANDIS PLACE ON KING WAS APPROVED BY THE LANDIS QUALITY LIVING BOARD IN JUNE OF 2021. THIS NEW PROJECT WILL CONSIST OF, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE DESIGN, ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF A SEVEN-STORY MIXED USE BUILDING WITH 79 ONE AND TWO-BEDROOM RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS, 1,800 SQUARE FEET OF RETAIL SPACE, AND 1,400 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE SPACE TO BE LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA. A REVENUE BOND, WITH A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF $25,000,000 WAS ISSUED IN 2021 IN ASSOCIATION WITH THIS PROJECT. CONSTRUCTION ON THIS PROJECT BEGAN IN IN THE SUMMER OF 2021 AND IS EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED IN OCTOBER OF 2022. A TAX CREDIT PROJECT IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT FOR THE MILLERSVILLE AREA. LQL HOPES TO HAVE A PROJECT READY FOR APPROVAL BY THE PHFA WITHIN THE NEXT TWELVE MONTHS.THE FINAL PROJECT IS A JOINT VENTURE LOCATED IN PENN TOWNSHIP OF LANCASTER COUNTY. LQL HOPES TO HAVE APPROXIMATELY 180 UNITS AVAILABLE WITH THE MIX OF UNITS TARGETING THE LOW TO MIDDLE INCOME RANGES. IN OCTOBER OF 2020, LANDIS QUALITY LIVING BECAME THE SOLE MEMBER OF A RELATED ORGANIZATION, WELSH MOUNTAIN HOME.
