AND WE WORK WITH OUR MEMBERS TO BUILD A MORE WELCOMING UNITED STATES. ASAP MEMBERS COME FROM MORE THAN 175 COUNTRIES AND LIVE IN EVERY U.S. STATE AND TERRITORY.

CONNECTING AND SUPPORTING ASYLUM SEEKERS: ASAP HARNESSES THE POWER OF TECHNOLOGY TO BUILD THE LARGEST COMMUNITY OF ASYLUM SEEKERS IN U.S. HISTORY. DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, ASAP GREW TO REACH 300,000 ASYLUM SEEKERS FROM 175 COUNTRIES. WE PROVIDED LEGAL AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO ASYLUM SEEKERS NAVIGATING THE COMPLEX U.S. IMMIGRATION SYSTEM, ANSWERED THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS' QUESTIONS, AND HELPED THOUSANDS OF ASYLUM SEEKERS RECEIVE WORK PERMITS.
CHANGE LED BY ASYLUM SEEKERS: ASAP'S ASYLUM-SEEKING MEMBERS SET THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIORITIES FOR HOW TO CHANGE THE ASYLUM SYSTEM, AND DIRECTLY ADVOCATE FOR CHANGE USING LEGAL, ORGANIZING AND COMMUNICATIONS STRATEGIES.
