SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH LABORATORY DEVOTED TO UNBIASED STUDIES OF PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BUILDING SYSTEMS, COMPONENTS, AND MATERIALS THAT WOULD PROVIDE RESULTS, OBJECTIVE TRAINING, AND EDUCATION RELATED TO BUILDING ENCLOSURES TO THE PUBLIC ON A NONDISCRIMINATORY BASIS. OUR PRIMARY ACTIVITIES IN 2023 FOCUSED ON GENERATING AND DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL CONTENT ABOUT BUILDING ENCLOSURES. AS PART OF THIS EFFORT, BUILDING ENCLOSURE INSTITUTE (BEI) DOCUMENTED TWO SIGNIFICANT EVENTS OF THE AMERICAN BUILDING ENCLOSURE SCENE: THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF BUILDING ENCLOSURE CONSULTANTS (IIBEC) INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION AND TRADE SHOW AND THE BEC CONFERENCE.
