MISSION EMPOWERING THROUGH ART, SERVICE, AND COMMUNITY. VISION WE FIND IN LOVE AIMS TO MAINTAIN A COLLABORATIVE, CREATIVE, AND EMPOWERING LEARNING ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS COMMUNITY AND ENCOURAGES INDEPENDENCE TO HELP REFUGEES AND OTHERS UNDERSERVED BRINGING EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES REGARDLESS OF NATIONALITY. IN ADDITION TO OUR REFUGEE SUPPORT WORK IN THE MIDDLE EAST, WE ARE ON OUR SECOND YEAR OF A REFUGEE SUPPORT CENTER, THE PLACE, IN AMARILLO TEXAS. WE SAW OVER 7,000 PEOPLE IN THIS PILOT YEAR 2022. AMARILLO IS HOME TO AT LEAST 15,000 REFUGEES FROM AROUND THE WORLD.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

Part 3 - Line 4a

JORDAN BRANCH- CHRISTIAN MISSION WORK, BUILDING UP OF FEMALE LEADERS, AND FOOD SUPPORT IN THE MIDDLE EAST. OUR TEAM IN JORDAN SUPPORTS AND TEACHES ALMOST 2000 FAMILIES AS OF 2022. WE WILL CONTINUE THIS IMPORTANT WORK FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE AS THE REFUGEE NEEDS IN THE MIDDLE EAST ARE VAST.

THE PLACE- MULTICULTURAL COMMUNITY CENTER WITH A REFUGEE FOCUS IN AMARILLO, TEXAS. IN OUR PILOT 2022 YEAR WE SAW OVER 7000 REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANTS IN NEED OF CASEWORK, IMMIGRATION, FOOD, AND ECONOMIC SUPPORT TO STRIVE FOR INDEPENDENCE IN THEIR NEW COUNTRY OF THE US. THE MAJORITY OF OUR FRIENDS IN 2022 WERE FROM AFGHANISTAN IN RESPONSE TO THE CRISIS WHERE THE US RECEIVED OVER 130,000 AFGHANS. IN AMARILLO WE HAVE SEEN OVER 500 AFGHANS AND THE PLACE HAS BEEN CRUCIAL TO THIS TRANSITION. THE PLACE NUMBERS ARE LOW THIS YEAR AS WE ARE A COLLABORATION AND WFIL DID NOT COVER THE COST IN 2022 BUT WILL IN 2023 AND ON.

LOCAL ART COLLABORATION PROGRAMS. THIS IS OUR SMALLEST BRANCH WERE WE CONTINUE TO CONNECT WITH OTHER LOCAL NONPROFITS, HOWEVER I DID INCLUDE THE ART PROGRAM THAT WE DID LOCALLY AND OUT OF THE PLACE, SO IN 2022 IT WAS LARGER.
