WHOLE PERSON CARE PROGRAMS: TO SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESTORATIVE PROGRAMS PROVIDING WHOLE-PERSON CARE FOR VICTIMS OF TRAUMA AND TRAFFICKING, RADIATE COALITION BOARD OF DIRECTORS MADE CONTRIBUTIONS TO AN NGO REGISTERED IN HONDURAS THAT OPERATES THE CASA DE ESTER PROGRAM - A RESIDENTIAL SAFE HOME FOR TEENAGE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND TRAFFICKING; AS WELL AS THE CASA LEGADO TRANSITION HOME PROGRAM FOR GRADUATING RESIDENTS OF THE CASA DE ESTER PROGRAM. THE SUPPORT OF RADIATE COALITION PROVIDED FOR BUDGETED OPERATIONS AND SPECIFIC SPECIAL PROJECTS FOR THE CASA DE ESTER AND CASA LEGADO PROGRAMS. IN JULY 2021, RADIATE COALITION COMPLETED THE PROCESS OF REGISTERING AND ACTIVATING RADIATE COALITION IN HONDURAS AS RESPLANDECER COALICION - A RELATED EXTENSION OF ITS US OPERATIONS TO FURTHER DEVELOP, EQUIP, AND PIONEER WHOLE-PERSON CARE PROGRAMS IN HONDURAS. IN JULY 2021, RADIATE COALITION ALSO PROVIDED FOR THE ADDITION OF UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS AS PART OF THE CASA LEGADO TRANSITION PROGRAM. AS PART OF ITS EFFORT TO DEVELOP AND EQUIP AFTERCARE PROGRAMS, RADIATE COALITION PROVIDED A DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS TO THE INDIA-BASED NGO ASHIRWAD TO ENABLE THE LAUNCH OF A TRANSITION HOME FOR YOUNG ADULTS SURVIVORS OF TRAFFICKING IN INDIA.
MISSION TRIPS: IN THE EFFORT TO ENGAGE US-BASED INDIVIDUALS TO LEARN ABOUT TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE EFFORTS ACROSS THE GLOBE, RADIATE COALITION LED MISSION TRIPS OF CURRENT AND PROSPECTIVE RADIATE COALITION DONORS AND VOLUNTEERS TO HONDURAS TO VISIT THE PROGRAMS OF CASA DE ESTER AND CASA LEGADO. DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, MISSION TRIPS WERE SUSPENDED. INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL WAS LIMITED TO RADIATE COALITION LEADERSHIP FOR ESSENTIAL MINISTRY PURPOSES ONLY.
