EMPOWERING PARENTS BELIEVES STRONG FAMILIES ARE THE FOUNDATION OF STRONG COMMUNITIES, THEREFORE WE RESTORE AND REUNITE FAMILIES BY PROVIDING THERAPY AND PARENT AID SERVICES.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PARENT AIDE PROGRAM: EPKC UTILIZED RESEARCH-BASED PROGRAMS TO ASSIST OUR CLIENTS THAT ARE REFERRED TO US, EITHER THROUGH CHILDREN'S DIVISION OR THROUGH CIRCUIT COURT CUSTODY MATTERS. WE BUILT GOALS AND OUTCOMES FOR 2023 PER OUR GRANT WITH THE CHILDREN'S SERVICES FUND WHICH CONTINUE TO BE IMPLEMENTED.


THERAPEUTIC PROGRAM: EPKC UTILIZE A MYRIAD OF THERAPEUTIC TREATMENTS SUCH AS TF-CBT, MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING, TRAUMA CENTERED APPROACH, CBT, AND TALK THERAPY. OUR THERAPY PROGRAM FOCUSES ON HIGH CONFLICT FAMILIES, AND WE PROVIDE SERVICES SUCH AS CO-PARENTING COUNSELING, MEDIATION, VARIOUS ASSESSMENTS, AND ADULT COUNSELING.


PARENT 4 PARENT (P4P): IS AN EARLY-ENGAGEMENT PARENT MENTORING AND EDUCATION PROGRAM THAT PROMOTES THE SAFE AND TIMELY REUNIFICATION OF CHILDREN WITH THEIR PARENTS OR AN ALTERNATIVE PERMANENCY OUTCOME WHEN REUNIFICATION IS NOT A VIABLE GOAL. THE PROGRAM SERVES FAMILIES WHO ARE IN THE DEPENDENCY SYSTEM AND SERVICES ARE INITIATED WHEN A CHILD IS AT RISK OR HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM HIS OR HER HOME BY CHILDREN'S DIVISION. THE P4P PROGRAM IS THROUGH A CONTRACT WITH JACKSON COUNTY DRUG COURT AND IS A PROGRAM THAT ORIGINATED IN WASHINGTON STATE. THIS PROGRAM WAS DISCONTINUED IN APRIL 2022.
