DISTRICT CHARTER ALLIANCE ADVOCATES FOR ADEQUATE AND EQUITABLE FUNDING FOR ALL PUBLIC SCHOOLS AND SUPPORTS TRANSFORMATIVE POLICIES ENABLING PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN DISTRICTS CHARTERS AND NONPROFITS TO PROVIDE SCHOOLS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR GREATER INNOVATION AND STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT.

THE DISTRICT CHARTER ALLIANCE CONDUCTS QUARTERLY MEETINGS TO HELP MEMBERS ON VARIOUS TOPICS INCLUDING POLICY UPDATES PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES NETWORKING PARTNERSHIP COLLABORATION AND MORE. THESE MEETINGS ALLOW MEMBERS TO SHARE INFORMATION WITH ONE ANOTHER AND LEARN FROM EXISTING DISTRICT-CHARTER PARTNERSHIPS. THIS IS TO HELP MEMBERS COLLABORATE AND TAKE WHAT THEY LEARN TO THEIR COMMUNITIES AND SCHOOLS. THE DISTRICT CHARTER ALLIANCE AIMS AT CHANGING THE NARRATIVE ON DISTRICT-CHARTER PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATION INCLUDING IN THE AREAS OF COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA AND PROVIDE POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS TO BOTH MEMBERS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN HOPES OF INCREASING THE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DISTRICT-CHARTER PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH CONSULTATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE TEXAS EDUCATION AGENCY. THESE EFFORTS REQUIRE TRAVEL ACROSS TEXAS HIRING CONSULTANTS DATA ANALYSIS WORKING WITH MEDIA REPS POLICY ANALYSIS AND ORGANIZATION BRANDING.
