Part 3
THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO PROVIDE BOTH COMPETITIVE AND RECREATIONAL INSTRUCTION IN THE SPORT OF EQUESTRIAN VAULTING, AS WELL AS SPONSOR, HOST AND/OR PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE THE INTERNATIONAL SPORT. IN 2022, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED A WEEKLY TROT CLASS ON SUNDAYS WITH 3-4 REGULAR PARTICIPANTS EACH WEEK. TWO INTERMEDIATE LEVEL CANTER VAULTERS COMPETED IN 4 COMPETITIONS. ONE VAULTER RECEIVED HER HIGHEST SCORE IN FALL 2022 AND WAS MOVED UP TO THE ELITE LEVEL FOR YOUTH IN THE USEF PATHWAYS PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, SHE QUALIFIED AS AN ALTERNATE FOR THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS. THE CLUB SECURED A HORSE TO BE USED IN EUROPEAN COMPETITIONS IN 2023. THE FOUNDATION NEEDED TO SELL AND REHOME ITS PREVIOUS VAULTING HORSE BUT WAS ABLE TO FIND A NEW HORSE WHICH WAS TRAINED TO VAULT OVER THE SUMMER. THE HORSE IS NOW CARRYING 3 CLASSES A WEEK AND USED BY BOTH CANTER AND TROT VAULTERS. THE COACH AND THREE VAULTERS ATTENDED A VAULTING SYMPOSIUM IN JANUARY 2022. TWO INSTRUCTORS TAUGHT CLINICS IN ENGLAND WITH A PARTNER VAULTING CLUB.
