SCHOLARSHIPS/GRANTS FOR STUDENTS AND COLLEGE PROGRAMS: FIVE DIFFERENT SCHOLARSHIPS AND EIGHT DIFFERENT COLLEGE PROGRAMS WERE SUPPORTED. THIS TUITION HELP AND INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE EDUCATIONAL PRACTICES AND EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES, AND ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAMS HELP STUDENTS BOTH DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY.


STUDENT EMERGENCY AID: FUNDS TO HELP STUDENTS WHO WERE HIT WITH SOME EMERGENCY, UP TO $500 EACH, SO THEY CAN CONTINUE THEIR EDUCATION UNINTERRUPTED. THIS YEAR WE HELPED 29 STUDENTS. WITH GRANTS AND DONATIONS, WE WILL CONTINUE THIS PROGRAM AND BUILD AN ENDOWMENT TO INSURE HELP FOR OUR STUDENTS IN PERPETUITY.


MENINGITIS INITIATIVE: PARTNERING WITH ANGELINA COUNTY CITIES HEALTH DISTRICT, WE PROVIDE REQUIRED MENINGITIS VACCINES TO INCOMING STUDENTS THROUGH SHOT CLINICS AT LOCAL HIGH SCHOOLS AND AT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR STUDENTS ENROLLING AT ANGELINA COLLEGE. 203 STUDENTS RECEIVED FREE MENINGITIS SHOTS.
