ALL FUNDS COLLECTED GO TO PAY FOR THE EVENT INCLUDING ADVERTISING AND AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATIONS FOR SPECIAL GUESTS, AS WELL AS TO THE SUPPORT OF THE EDUCATIONAL DAY ACTIVITIESINCLUDING A "COMIC-RELATED" CURRICULUM FOR LOCAL AREA HIGH SCHOOLERS WHO ARE BUSSED TO THE UH MAUI COLLEGE CAMPUS AS PART OF OUR MISSION TO FOSTER THE LOVE AND APPRECIATION OF COMICS AND ART IN THE COMMUNITY.
