Part 3
IN 2020, CFTH PROVIDED 850,000 MEALS, 50,000 TOILETRIES, 50,000 NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS, 10,000 CLOTHES ITEMS, 100,000 POUNDS OF FRESH PRODUCE, HOME DELIVERIES OF 2,000 MEALS TO FAMILIES IN NEED SERVING 500 FAMILIES THROUGHOUT 33 NEIGHBORHOODS IN QUEENS, 7,000 SOCKS, AND 3,000 POUNDS OF FOOD ITEMS TO DOGS AND CATS. MY ORGANIZATION SERVED ABOUT ONE MILLION PEOPLE, AS WELL AS A FEW THOUSAND DOGS AND CATS THROUGHOUT NYC. I PAID FOR THE MAJORITY OF EXPENSES MYSELF BECAUSE I WAS NOT ABLE TO RAISE ENOUGH FUNDING FOR EXPENSES AND RECEIVE EMERGENCY COVID FUNDING, WHICH I APPLIED FOR. I RAN A GOFUNDME COVID EMERGENCY RELIEF FOOD AND TOILETRY DRIVE THAT RECEIVED SOME MONETARY DONATIONS, AND I COLLECTED DONATIONS OF CLOTHES, SOCKS, FOOD, AND TOILETRIES THROUGH THESE DRIVES. I ALSO RECEIVED TWO GRANTS FROM NOMINATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY FOR $1,000 EACH. I USED MOST DONATIONS TO BUY MASS QUANTITIES OF FOOD FOR DEPLETED FOOD PANTRY PARTNERS, EXPANDING MY NETWORK ASTRONOMICALLY IN 2020.
