ENGAGING IN, ADVANCING, PROMOTING, SUPPORTING AND ADMINISTERING ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS RELATED TO HOSTING THE NBA ALL-STAR WEEKEND IN INDIANAPOLIS IN 2024.

Part 3 - Line 4a

MANAGING, PROMOTING AND PREPARING INDIANAPOLIS AND SURROUNDING AREAS FOR AN ENTERTAINING, SAFE AND COMPREHENSIVE CELEBRATION OF THE 2024 NBA ALL-STAR GAME. IN CONNECTION WITH HOSTING THE GAME, THE ORGANIZATION EXPECTS TO ORGANIZE AND LEAD ANCILLARY ALL-STAR EVENTS INCLUDING NBA RISING STARS CHALLENGE, NBA ALL-STAR SATURDAY NIGHT SKILLS CHALLENGE, NBA ALL-STAR CELEBRITY GAME AND NBA FAN ZONE. THESE EVENTS WILL PROVIDE BENEFIT TO PEOPLE OF ALL AGES WITHIN THE COMMUNITY AND BEYOND.


IN 2021, THE ORGANIZATION AWARDED 21 RISING STAR SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. EACH OF THE 21 ALL-STAR LEGACY PROJECTS NOMINATED SEVERAL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. THE INDIANAPOLIS NBA ALL-STAR LEGACY COMMITTEE SELECTED ONE RISING STAR FOR EACH OF THE 21 LEGACY PROJECTS. THE HOST COMMITTEE PLANS TO INCLUDE THESE RISING STARS IN ACTIVITIES RELATED TO NBA ALL-STAR 2024
