OUR EVENT WAS CREATED TO HELP CHILDREN WHO ARE FIGHTING CANCER AT THE NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AMERICAN FAMILY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL / CARBONE CANCER CENTER. PARTICIPANTS IN OUR EVENT SHARE A PASSION FOR CHILDREN, COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND FISHING. WE RAISE MONEY BY ASKING LOCAL FISHING GUIDES TO TAKE PARTICIPANTS OUT FISHING (INCLUDING NATIONAL AND LOCAL CELEBRITIES) IN A TOURNAMENT FORMAT. IN ADDITION, THE CASTING FOR KIDS EVENT INCLUDES A FUNDRAISING DINNER AND BOTH SILENT AND LIVE AUCTIONS WITH NET PROCEEDS BEING DONATED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN AMERICAN FAMILY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL / CARBONE CANCER CENTER.
