THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO ACHIEVE THE BEST POSSIBLE DEER HERD, TO PROMOTE HIGH QUALITY HUNTING AND TO PROTECT OUR HUNTING HERITAGE. TO ACHIEVE THESE PURPOSES, THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES SHALL BE PROMOTED: 1. PRESENT OUR POSITIONS TO GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS' DEPARTMENTS AND LEGISLATORS, 2. PROMOTE GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, GOOD HUNTING ETHICS AND SAFE HUNTING PRACTICES, 3. PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN A HIGH QUALITY DEER HABITAT PROGRAM, 4. PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEER HUNTERS TO MEET, SHARE EXPERIENCES AND DEVELOP AN INCLUSIVE SPIRIT, 5. EDUCATE HUNTERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE VALUES OF THE SPORT OF DEER HUNTING, 6.
