THE NEWMAN IDEA'S VISION ARISES FROM THE LAITY WORKING ALONGSIDE RELIGIOUS AND THE HIERARCHY, REFLECTING THE MISSION OF ST. BENEDICT, THE LEARNING OF ST. DOMINIC, THE PRACTICALITY OF ST. IGNATIUS, THE SPIRIT OF ST. PHILIP NERI, AND THE INTEGRITY OF ST. JOHN HENRY NEWMAN. TNI WILL ESTABLISH IKON INSTITUTES WHICH TEACH ACADEMIC COURSES, FORM STUDENTS IN RESIDENCE WHERE POSSIBLE, AND REACH OUT TO THE WIDER CATHOLIC COMMUNITY. THE TNI PLAN IS TO LAUNCH AT LEAST 5 IKONS IN THE SOUTH AND MIDWEST WITHIN THE NEXT 5 YEARS. WITHIN THE NEXT 10 YEARS WE HOPE TO REACH AT LEAST 25,000 COLLEGE STUDENTS. EACH INSTITUTE WILL BE SELF-SUSTAINING AND COMMUNICATE THE GIFT OF INTEGRITY BY: "TEACHING INTEGRAL KNOWLEDGE THAT UNIFIES STUDENTS' FAITH WITH THEIR LEARNING THROUGH ACCREDITED COLLEGE COURSES, SYMPOSIA AND CONFERENCES;"OFFERING INTEGRAL FORMATION THROUGH ENCOURAGING SACRIFICIAL LEADERSHIP, A PROFOUND INTERIOR LIFE, AND A HABIT OF LIFE CONDUCIVE TO COMMUNITY LIVING; "BUILDING AN INTEGRAL MISSION FOR CATHOLICS THROUGH DAILY COMMUNAL PRAYER AND WORSHIP, DISCERNMENT, AND BEING FAITHFUL TO GOD'S WILL AND MISSION FOR THEIR LIVES.
