VCI LEADERSHIP ACADEMY OFFERS TWO DIFFERENT COURSES INTERPRETING FOR PROFESSIONALS COURSE 40 HOURS AND THE BILINGUAL COMMUNTIY INTERPRETER TRAINING 80 HOUR COURSE. THE ACADEMY AIMS TO IMPROVE THE ECONOMIC SECURITY OF LOWER INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN NM THROUGH ENHANCING TRAINING SUPPORT FOR UNEMPLOYED AND UNDEREMPLOYED BILINGUAL PERSONNEL TO ENTER THE INTERPRETER PROFESSION AND EARN A HIGH LIVING WAGE IN COMMUNITY INTERPRETATION.
VCI AGENCY PROVIDES LANGUAGE SERVICES BY QUALIFIED AND TRAINED INTERPRETERS IN SMALL MEETINGS OR LARGE CONFERENCES AND PUBLIC HEARINGS
