Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
THE ESCALATOR AWARD PROGRAM PROVIDES INSTITUTIONAL FUNDING TO SUPPORT AND ADVANCE WOMEN IN CARDIOLOGY BY PROVIDING TRAINING, MENTORING AND NETWORKING SUPPORT. THE 2021 PROGRAM DISTRIBUTED 11 AWARDS, TOTALING $355,000.
THE CLIMB PROGRAM PROVIDES CLINICAL SKILLS TRAINING TO WOMEN IN AREAS OF MEDICINE WHERE THEY ARE HIGHLY UNDERREPRESENTED. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM INCLUDE SMALL GROUP SESSIONS LED BY WORLD RENOWN EXPERTS, AND FOCUSED ATTENTION ON NETWORKING AMONG ALL ATTENDEES AND SPONSORS. THE 2021 PROGRAM ENROLLED OVER 80 WOMEN INTO 4 DISTINCT LEARNING TRACKS FOR A 6 MONTH VIRTUAL PROGRAM.
WOMEN AS ONE'S TALENT DIRECTORY COLLECTS PROFESSIONAL PROFILES ON WOMEN PHYSICIANS WHO VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO BE PART OF THIS FREE PROGRAM. THE TALENT DIRECTORY PROGRAM ALLOWS THE ORGANIZATION TO USE VARIOUS PROFILE FIELDS TO MATCH REGISTRANTS WITH ONGOING PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITIES SUCH AS SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, ADVISORY BOARD PARTICIPATION, AND RESEARCH PROJECTS.
