PRESERVING AND PROTECTING THE COASTAL LANDS OF HANA. ACQUISITION OF CLOSE TO 200 ACRES OF COASTAL LANDS, ALONG WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF CONSERVATION EASEMENTS, ENSURES PROTECTION AGAINST DEVELOPMENT IN PERPETUITY. MONTHLY VOLUNTEER DAYS WORK TO ERADICATE INVASIVE SPECIES ON THE LAND. VARIOUS GRANTS PROMOTE CULTURAL PRACTICES AND RECONNECTION OF COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO THE LAND.
