RELIEF SOUTH SUDAN STARTED NEW TESTAMENT TRANSLATION ON 11 LANGUAGES IN SOUTH SUDAN: JUR MODO, KAKWA, KELIKO, KOGURO, KUKU, KURUMI, LANGO, LATUKA (OTUHO), LAKOYA (GOLO), LAKOYA CENTRAL, LOPIT.
WE HAVE FUNDED TRAUMA HEALING WORKSHOPS IN KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP AMONG THE SOUTH SUDANESE REFUGEES. THESE INDIVIDUALS HAVE FLED THEIR HOME REGION BECAUSE OF VIOLENCE, AND MANY OF THEM HAVE LOST FAMILY MEMBERS AND WITNESSED ACTS OF EXTREME VIOLENCE. THESE WORKSHOPS WERE FACILITATED BY TIMOTHY IBRAHIM, A PASTOR AT KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP.
RELIEF SOUTH SUDAN HAS SUPPORTED BENJAMIN IBRAHIM AND JACOB WANI, TWO YOUNG REFUGEE MEN TO ATTEND UNIVERSITY IN KENYA. IN ADDITION WE HAVE SUPPORTED JELILA, A YOUNG WOMAN TO ATTEND A BOARDING SCHOOL IN KENYA. SHE IS ALSO A REFUGEE AND AN ORPHAN.
