THE PURPOSE OF AMA SHALL BE TO RENDER MATERIAL, MORAL, AND SPIRITUAL AID, IN THE NAME OF CHRIST, TO DESTITUTE AND NEEDY PEOPLE.

KENYA PROGRAMS: AMA PROVIDED BISHOPS AND PASTORS FOR VARIOUS CHURCHES IN CITY AND RURAL AREAS. NATIONAL CLERGY AND OTHER NATIONAL CHURCH LEADERS ALSO ASSISTED WITH THE WORK. MISSION PERSONNEL ASSIST WITH WEEKLY BIBLE STUDIES, OVERSEE THE DISTRIBUTION OF HUMANITARIAN AID, AND OVERSEE COMMUNITY VISITATION AND SOCIAL SERVICES. TEACHING SEMINARS, FOR YOUTH AND ADULTS, ON A VARIETY OF SUBJECTS ARE PRESENTED IN STRATEGIC LOCATIONS. BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSES ARE ALSO OFFERED WITH AN ACTIVE ENROLLMENT OF SEVERAL THOUSAND. NUMEROUS RELIGIOUS REFERENCE BOOKS, INCLUDING BIBLES, WERE DISTRIBUTED AT A SUBSIDIZED PRICE, TO LOCAL PASTORS, TEACHERS, AND INTERESTED LAY PERSONS. MANY FREE BOOKS WERE DISTRUTED TO INDIVIDUALS.


EL SALVADOR PROGRAMS: AMA ASSISTS NATIONAL CHURCHES BY PROVIDING SEVERAL PASTORS TO HELP LEAD LOCAL CONGREGATIONS. LEADERSHIP AND ASSISTANCE WAS GIVEN TO A FEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS THAT WERE STAFFED BY AMERICAN AND NATIONAL TEACHERS. AMA ALSO PROVIDED STAFF TO ASSIST WITH LEADERSHIP, GIVE COUNSEL, AND TO SERVE IN OTHER CAPACITIES OF THREE EL SALVADOR BASED MINISTRIES INCLUDING STRONG TOWER CHILDRENS HOME, CENTER FOR TRAINING AND HOUSING DEAF STUDENTS, AND STRONG TOWER MENNONITE CHRISTIAN SCHOOL.


BELIZE PROGRAMS: AMA PROVIDED NATIONAL CHURCH SUPPORT AND CHURCH LEADERSHIP. AMERICAN TEACHERS ASSISTED IN A FEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ALONG WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS. MISSION PERSONNEL CONDUCT PRISON MINISTRIES AND NUMEROUS COMMUNITY SOCIAL PROGRAMS SACH AS GIRLS AND BOYS CLUBS, ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH FROM BELIZE CITY AND OUTLYING VILLAGES, IN HOME BIBLE STUDIES, VACTION BIBLE SCHOOLS, AND HOSPITAL AND COMMUNITY VISITATION.
