IN 2021 SAVE THE SALEM PEACE MOSAIC CONTINUED ITS MISSION OF PRESERVING THE "RIVER OF PEACE" MOSAIC LOCATED IN SALEM, OREGON. THIS YEAR, WE WORKED WITH A STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO CONTINUE PLANNING FOR MOSAIC INSTALLATION. WE ALSO CONTINUED MARKETING FOR THE MOSAIC, ADDED A NEW BOARD MEMBER, AND WROTE A GRANT FOR MOSAIC RESTORATION AND COMMUNITY OUTREACH. VOLUNTEERS PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 1475 VOLUNTEER SERVICE HOURS TO THE ORGANIZATION DURING THE YEAR.
