HOSTING ADOPTION EVENTS3. PARTICIPATING IN COMMUNITY EVENTS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION ABOUT RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP

THE ALLIANCE COLLABORATED WITH ASSOCIATED FUNDERS AND VETERINARY PARTNER CLINICS UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE PROJECT MANAGER TO CONTINUE ITS EFFORTS/SERVICES/PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS UNDER THE "FIX.ADOPT.SAVE." (FAS) INITIATIVE IN WHICH MULTIPLE COMPONENTS ARE A FOCAL POINT TO ADDRESS THE OVERPOPULATION OF HOMELESS ANIMALS IN MARICOPA COUNTY. COMMUNITY SPAY AND NEUTER PROJECTS REPRESENT A PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE ALLIANCE TO ADDRESS THE OVERPOPULATION OF HOMELESS ANIMALS. THROUGH GRANT FUNDS TO THE ALLIANCE, FOR FAS, 5,664 SPAY AND NEUTER SURGERIES AND 6,492 VACCINATIONS FOR PETS WERE PROVIDED TO MARICOPA COUNTY RESIDENTS AT NO-COST. THESE SERVICES WERE PROVIDED THROUGH COMMUNITY EVENTS, 68 VETERINARY MOBILE SPAY/NEUTER DAYS AND DAILY SUPPORT FROM MULTIPLE VETERINARY PARTNER CLINICS AROUND MARICOPA COUNTY THROUGH FAS SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHER PROGRAM (INCLUDING ALLIANCE AND NON-ALLIANCE PARTNERS). AS A WHOLE, THROUGH ADDITIONAL EFFORTS AND FUNDINGFOR PUBLIC SURGERIES, ALLIANCE/FAS MEMBERS PERFORMED 30,525 SPAY/NEUTER SURGERIES. ADDITIONALLY, ALL ALLIANCE MEMBERS WHO PROVIDE ADOPTIONS FOUND HOMES FOR OVER 29,042 ANIMALS IN 2022. FAS PROJECT MANAGERS ROLE ASSISTS IN THE PROMOTION OF ALL FAS ASPECTS INCLUDING ADOPTIONS, FOSTER NEEDS, SOCIAL MEDIA AND COMMUNICATIONS AND SPAY/NEUTER PROJECT ASSISTANT TO OTHER ALLIANCE MEMBERS RECEIVING GRANT FUNDING, INCLUDING 21 ADDITIONAL SPAY/NEUTER MOBILE DAYS THROUGH MCACC AND ALTERED TAILS, COMBINED.
