THE ORGANIZATION IS PRINCIPALLY IN THE BUSINESS OF RECRUITING, TRAINING, AND SUPERVISING VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE APPOINTED BY A JUDGE IN FAMILY COURT TO ADVOCATE FOR A CHILD OR FAMILY OF CHILDREN WHO ARE IN OUT-OF-HOME PLACEMENT.
