MISSION IS TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE SUSTAINABILITY OF OYSTER REEFS AND THE OYSTER INDUSTRY IN THE GALVESTON BAY AREA. THE SAN LEON OYSTER FEST WILL EDUCATE AND PROMTE THE IMPORTANCE OF A STRONG INDUSTRY FOR GENERATIONS. AN OYSTER PUBLIC FEST WILL BE HELD ANNUALLY.
