MISSION PURPOSE: TO PROMOTE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT THROUGH ATHLETICS AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH AGES 8-18 THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY AT A COMPETITIVE LEVEL WHILE TEACHING LIFE SKILLS THROUGH SPORT TO PREPARE THEM FOR LIFE BEYOND ATHLETICS. EMPHASIS ON ACADEMICS HEALTHY LIVING CHARACTER BUILDING HIGHER EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. ACTIVITIES: ORGANIZED TEAM PRACTICES COACHING TRAVEL TO AND PARTICIPATION IN SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES FOR EIGHT TEAMS 104 YOUTH FEMALE ATHLETES. PARTICIPATED IN COMMUNITY TOY DRIVE MAKING BLANKETS FOR LOCAL DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS CLOTHING AND COAT DRIVES FOR DV SURVIVORS AND MENTORSHIP BETWEEN OLDER ATHLETES AND YOUNGER ATHLETES TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY.
