SEE STORIES' PROGRAMS WERE HELD WITH 201 YOUTH, ENGAGING THEM IN DIGITAL STORYTELLING PODCASTING. EACH YOUTH HAD AN AVERAGE OF 30 CONTACT HOURS THROUGH THEIR SEE STORIES' PROGRAM/WORKSHOP. SEE STORIES HELD THESE WORKSHOPS WITH THE FOLLOWING YOUTH/GROUPS/SCHOOLS: 1) FILM WORKSHOP IN CHEVAK, ALASKA, 2) FILM WORKSHOP IN JUNEAU, ALASKA, 3) TWO PODCAST WORKSHOPS AT WEST HIGH SCHOOL, 4) FILM WORKSHOP IN ANGOON, 5) TWO PODCAST WORKSHOPS AT BETTYE DAVIS EAST HIGH SCHOOL, 6)POCAST WORKSHOP AT WENDELL, AND 7) FILM WORKSHOP WITH TRIO UPWARD BOUND STUDENTS.


SEE STORIES TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES WERE HELD WITH 75 EDUCATORS AROUND ALASKA, EACH ENGAGING WITH ~100 HOURS OF CURRICULUM OVER THE COURSE OF A SEMESTER IN ORDER TO LEARN HOW TO ENGAGE THEIR STUDENTS IN PODCASTING AND DIGITAL STORYTELLING. ALL OF OUR TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS WERE FUNDED VIA GRANTS. WE HAVE HOSTED THE FOLLOWING TEACHER PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COURSES: 1) ANCHORED HISTORIES, A VIRTUAL COURSE DESIGNED TO SUPPORT TEACHERS TO UTILIZE PRIMARY SOURCES TO TEACH DOCUMENTARY FILMMAKING TO THEIR STUDENTS AND 2) CROSS-CULTURAL EDUCATION FOR NORTH SLOPE TEACHERS, A COURSE INSTRUCTED IN- PERSON IN UTQIAGVIK.
