THE ORGANIZAITON HAS RAISED MONEY TO HELP SUPPORT THE WEST RIVER LEGAL FUND TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE DEMONSTRATION BLOCKING THE ROAD TO MOUNT RUSHMORE ON JULY 3-4, 2020. THE LEGAL FUND WILL SUPPORT LEGAL MATTERS, TRAVEL, AND OTHER RESOURCES RELATING TO FIGHTING THE CHARGES INCURRED TO THE DEMONSTRATORS ON JULY 3-4, 2020. CURRENTLY, TWENTY INDIVIUALS ARE BEING SERVED BY THE WEST RIVER LEGAL FUND.
THE ORGANIZATION HAS SUPPORTED THE CREEK PATROL AND ASSISTED IN AIDING THE HOMELESS POPULATION IN RAPID CITY. THIS ASSISTANCE HAS HELPED 60-70 INDIVIDUALS BY PROVIDING SHELTER AND HOT MEALS.
THE ORGANIZATION HAS ESTABLISHED THE MNILUZAHAN LEGAL FUND TO ASSIST SIX INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE ARRESTED ON OCTOBER 16, 2020 WHILE ESTABLISHING CAMP MNILUZAHAN IN RAPID CITY.
