Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
IN OCTOBER OF 2021, THRIVE OPENED THE RED RIVER KITCHEN AND BAKERY. WE OPENED IT WITH THE INTENTION OF EDUCATING THE COMMUNITY ON HEALTHY DIET AND LIFESTYLE. WE HAVE ALREADY ASSISTED SEVERAL INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE CHRONICALLY ILL MANAGE THEIR CONDITION THROUGH LIFESTYLE EDUCATION. WE LOOK FORWARD TO RUNNING 10 DAY HEALTH CHALLENGES, COOKING CLASSES, AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS IN THE FUTURE.
COMING OUT OF COVID, WE FOUND THAT MANY PEOPLE WERE LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONNECTION. THIS YEAR'S CAMPMEETING WAS WELL ATTENDED WITH WELL OVER 200 REGISTRANTS/ATTENDEES DURING THE OUTDOOR EVENT. IN ADDITION TO SPIRITUAL INSTRUCTION, WE WERE ABLE TO EDUCATE ATTENDEES ON HOW TO DO WORK SIMILAR TO WHAT WE DO AND SHARE WHAT WE'VE ACCOMPLISHED DURING THE PANDEMIC. WE LOOK FORWARD TO EXPANDING OUR PROGRAMMING IN 2022 & 2023.
IN 2021, WE CONTINUED TO BUILD OUT OUR AGRICULTURAL PROGRAM. THIS WAS PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT TO THE OPENING OF THE RESTAURANT AND MARKET, WHERE THE FOOD GROWN ON SITE WILL BE USED TO SUPPLY THE RESTAURANT. WE PLAN TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR FARM BY CULTIVATING MORE LAND ON THE PREMISES AND FACILITATE ADDITIONAL GARDENING CLASSES.
