IN 2023 THE FOUNDATION FUNDED 2 RESEARCH PROJECTS TO DR. STEVEN CALL AT WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $35,000, BOTH FOR IFMA RELATED RESEARCH (SEE 2ND PARAGRAPH). THE FOUNDATION FUNDED 3 RESEARCH PROJECTS WITH DR. BRIAN LINES AT THE UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS A TOTAL FUNDED VALUE OF $105,000. IN CONNECTION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION'S RESEARCH AND BENCHMARKING INSTITUTE, THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTED 12 WEBINARS, REACHING APPROXIMATELY 270 PEOPLE. THE WEBINARS WERE ON A VARIETY OF INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES DEVELOPED FROM PAST AND CURRENT RESEARCH. ON-GOING RESEARCH WITH IFMA IN 2023 INCLUDING BENCHMARKING HEALTHCARE FACILITY OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE, THE STATE OF WOMEN IN FACILITY MANAGEMENT: A ROADMAP TO FUTURE EFFORTS, THE STATE OF US MILITARY VETERANS IN FACILITY MANAGEMENT, SUCCESSION PLANNING IN FM, AND UPDATES TO RESOURCE ADVANTAGE PLATFORM AND O&M BENCHMARKS: INDEX.IN CONNECTION WITH THE CENTER FOR PROCUREMENT EXCELLENCE (501C6), THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED WITH 5 MULTI-DAY PROCUREMENT/RFP TRAINING COURSES. EACH EVENT INCLUDED 4 SESSIONS WITH A TOTAL CONTACT HOURS OF 9, REACHING APPROXIMATELY 490 PEOPLE. THESE CLASSES WERE PROVIDED THROUGH ANOTHER NPO, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE PROCUREMENT OFFICIALS (NASPO). TWELVE MONTHLY WEBINARS, "ASK THE RFP DOCTOR", WERE ALSO COMPLETED DURING THE YEAR WITH OVER 650 TOTAL ATTENDEES. MORE BROADLY, THE RESEARCHERS/RESEARCH TEAM PRESENTED AT MORE THAN 75 PRESENTATIONS REACHING 3000+ PEOPLE AT VARIOUS CONFERENCES, MEETINGS, AND EVENTS.THE FOUNDATION PRODUCED 52 BLOGS ON THE BUSINESS OF CONSTRUCTION WITH AN INDUSTRY REACH ESTIMATED AT OVER 25,000 PROFESSIONALS EACH WEEK AND WAS AVAILABLE ON THE FOUNDATION WEBSITE. THE BLOGS HAVE BEEN SHARED AND REPOSTED BY VARIOUS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND COMPANIES IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY, INCLUDING SURETIES, PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURE AND CONTRACTOR/BUILDER COMPANIES AND INDUSTRY GROUPS.
