IN 2021 THE FOUNDATION ISSUED A TASK ORDER RFP FOR THE PIS TO PROPOSED RESEARCH PROJECTS FOR FUNDING TO 3 MASTER AGREEMENT HOLDERS. TWO SUBMISSIONS WERE RECEIVED WITH A TOTAL OF 8 PROPOSED RESEARCH PROJECTS. THE FOUNDATION AGREED TO FUND 6 RESEARCH PROJECTS WITH A TOTAL FUNDED VALUE OF $121,000. IN CONNECTION WITH THE INTERNATIONAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION'S RESEARCH AND BENCHMARKING INSTITUTE, THE FOUNDATION CONDUCTED 20 WEBINARS, REACHING APPROXIMATELY 600 PEOPLE. THE WEBINARS WERE ON A VARIETY OF INDUSTRY BEST PRACTICES DEVELOPED FROM PAST AND CURRENT RESEARCH. IN CONNECTION WITH THE CENTER FOR PROCUREMENT EXCELLENCE (501C6), THE FOUNDATION ASSISTED WITH 3 MULTI-DAY PROCUREMENT/RFP TRAINING COURSES. EACH EVENT INCLUDED 4 SESSIONS WITH A TOTAL CONTACT HOURS OF 9, REACHING APPROXIMATELY 750 PEOPLE. THIS INCLUDED PROVIDING TRAINING TO ANOTHER NPO, THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF STATE PROCUREMENT OFFICIALS (NASPO) AND ITS MEMBERSMORE BROADLY, THE RESEARCHERS/RESEARCH TEAM PRESENTED MORE THAN 50 PRESENTATIONS REACHING 2,000+ PEOPLE AT VARIOUS CONFERENCES, MEETINGS, AND EVENTS.FIVE RESEARCH PAPERS WERE COMPLETED IN 2021 AND POSTED ON THE FOUNDATION WEBSITE. THIS INCLUDED 3 PAPERS ON IT STATEMENTS OF WORK AND MARKET RESEARCH, 1 PAPER ON THE CURRENT STATE OF PRACTICE IN SOFTWARE RFPS, AND A PAPER ON FACILITIES STAFFING BENCHMARKING.THE FOUNDATION PRODUCED 52 BLOGS ON THE BUSINESS OF CONSTRUCTION WHICH WAS SENT TO OVER 3,000 PROFESSIONALS EACH WEEK AND WAS AVAILABLE ON THE FOUNDATION WEBSITE. THE BLOGS HAVE BEEN SHARED AND REPOSTED BY VARIOUS OTHER ORGANIZATIONS AND COMPANIES.
