LED WEEKLY GROUP RUNNING/WALKING PROGRAMS FOR APPROXIMATELY 500 CLIENTS IN VARIOUS LOS ANGELES AREA ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAMS. PARTICIPANTS REPORTED BENEFITS INCLUDING INCREASED SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SELF-ESTEEM; AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRACTICE LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS PERSEVERANCE, GOAL-SETTING, AND OVERCOMING OBSTACLES; AN ENHANCED SENSE OF BELONGING AND SELF-WORTH BY BEING PART OF A TEAM; AND GAINING A STRATEGY (REGULAR EXERCISE) FOR ALLEVIATING COMMON RELAPSE TRIGGERS SUCH AS STRESS, DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY. THESE SESSIONS ARE THE SOURCE OF OUR PROGRAM REVENUE.
