WAS AWARDED A TWO-YEAR GRANT FROM THE COLORADO HEALTH FOUNDATION. EXPANDED SOUL POWER CARE GROUPS TO NURTURE CAREGIVERS OF YOUNG CHILDREN, INCLUDING THE TRAINING OF NEW FACILITATORS. PIVOTED IN THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TO PROVIDE EXPANDED VIRTUAL PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING PARENT AND CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUPS, PROFESSIONAL LEARNING FOR TEACHERS AND COMMUNITY PRESENTATIONS. HOSTED THE SOULSPARK SANCTUARY, AN EDUCATOR WELL-BEING EVENT, THAT PROVIDED FREE RESOURCES AND TOOLS TO APX. 200 TEACHERS. AWARDED TWO BRIGHT.ED. AWARDS TO EDUCATORS INNOVATING TO SUPPORT HISTORICALLY EXCLUDED YOUTH. TEAM MEMBERS' WORK WAS HIGHLIGHTED IN THE INAUGURAL GIFTED/TALENTED/NEURODIVERSITY (G/T/N) AWARENESS WEEK.
WAS THE FISCAL SPONSOR FOR, AND SUPPORTED THE OPENING OF, TESSELLATIONS: THE BENEVENTI SCHOOL, A KINDERGARTEN THROUGH EIGHTH-GRADE SCHOOL FOR NEURODIVERSE GIFTED YOUTH. IN THE SCHOOL'S FIRST YEAR, IT SERVED, THE PROGRAM SERVED APPROXIMATELY 100 STUDENTS. THE SCHOOL IS UNIQUE IN ITS UNDERSTANDING OF GIFTED DEVELOPMENT, WHOLE CHILD AND EXPERIENTIAL APPROACH, SOCIAL JUSTICE EMPHASIS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL PRIORITIES.
