THE BULK OF OUR ACTIVITIES CENTER AROUND COORDINATING THE 2-DAY CELEBRATION. OUR ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH THE CITY OF DUVALL TO SECURE PERMITS FOR HOSTING THE EVENT, INCLUDING STREET CLOSURES FOR THE PARADE AND ENTERTAINMENT AREAS. WE SOLICIT APPLICATIONS FOR VENDORS AND COORDINATE AND SCHEDULE ENTERTAINMENT. IN ORDER TO COVER THE COSTS OF THE EVENT, WE SOLICIT DONATIONS OF SUPPLIES, MATERIALS, CASH DONATIONS, AND EVENT SPONSORSHIPS. WE CONDUCT MARKETING AND OUTREACH ACTIVITIES INCLUDING DESIGNING ALL PRINT AND ELECTRONIC COLLATERAL. WE RECRUIT AND COORDINATE VOLUNTEERS WHO HELP US WITH SETTING UP, STAFFING, TEARING DOWN, AND CLEANING UP THE EVENT. CURRENTLY, THE DUVALL DAYS FESTIVAL IS A VOLUNTEER-RUN EVENT/ORGANIZATION.
