LEARNING - OUR LEARNING PROGRAM PRESENTED OVER 150 EVENTS IN 2021 THROUGH ONLINE PLATFORMS. WE REACHED NEARLY 8,600 PEOPLE WITH QUALITY INFORMATION ABOUT NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT, GOVERNANCE, AND CRITICAL EMERGENT TOPICS. IN ADDITION, 4,100 UNIQUE VIEWERS ACCESSED OUR LEARNING VIDEOS ONLINE. WE RELEASED NEW RESOURCES TO SUPPORT EMPLOYER COMPLIANCE AND EDUCATION, AND WE CONTINUE TO LISTEN TO NONPROFITS SO THAT WE CAN RESPOND WITH TIMELY PROGRAMS THAT ADDRESS CURRENT NEEDS. OUR LEARNING OFFERINGS CONTINUE TO EXPAND TO INCORPORATE MORE EQUITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND REMOTE WORK TOPICS AS WELL AS EVENTS PRESENTED IN SPANISH.
ENGAGEMENT - WE CONNECTED OUR MEMBERS FOR NETWORKING, LEARNING, AND COLLABORATION. WE SUPPORTED REGIONAL NETWORKS AND PROVIDED INFORMATION AND REFERRALS ON A REGULAR BASIS. WE SHARED TIMELY INFORMATION ON TRENDS IN THE SECTOR AND ENCOURAGED PEER LEARNING, MENTORING, AND SUPPORT.
ADVOCACY - IN 2021, WASHINGTON NONPROFITS ADVOCATED FOR POLICIES THAT CREATE A POSITIVE CLIMATE FOR NONPROFITS TO DO THEIR VITAL WORK. WE ADVOCATED FOR CHANGES TO LABOR LAWS, ADVOCATED AND CELEBRATED UPDATING THE STATE STATUTES THAT GOVERN NONPROFITS, AND DEFEATED BILLS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN DAMAGING TO NONPROFITS.
