PUBLIC MEETINGS PROGRAM: THE PURPOSE OF BCI IS TO WORK WITH AND EDUCATE FLOOD VICTIMS AND THE HARRIS COUNTY COMMUNITY POST-HARVEY. WE HAVE DEVELOPED A THREE-PART ACTION PLAN FOR MOVING FORWARD POST-HARVEY THAT INCLUDES VISION, INFORMATION AND ACTION. WE HAVE MEMBERSHIP FROM ABOUT 40 NON-PROFITS AND NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATIONS AROUND HARRIS COUNTY, AND WE MEET ABOUT ONCE EVERY TWO OR THREE MONTHS TO DISCUSS IMPORTANT ISSUES ABOUT RECOVERY AND LIVING WITH AND IMPROVING OUR SITUATION REGARDING FLOODING.
