ST. NICHOLAS ORTHODOX ACADEMY IS A PRIVATE, CHRISTIAN SCHOOL FOR GRADES K-12. ST. NICHOLAS ORTHODOX ACADEMY PROVIDES A RIGOROUS, WELL-ROUNDED, CLASSICAL CURRICULUM WHICH IS TAILORED TO SUIT THE NEEDS OF INDIVIDUAL STUDENTS. THE ACADEMY BELIEVES THAT EACH CHILD IS UNIQUE, AND THAT PARENTS KNOW WHAT IS BEST FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THEREFORE, TEACHERS WILL WORK WITH PARENTS TO DESIGN AN INDIVIDUALIZED CURRICULUM FOR EACH CHILD BASED ON THE CHILD'S STRENGTHS, LEARNING STYLE, AND INTERESTS. THE ACADEMY SEEKS NOT ONLY TO MEET STATE STANDARDS FOR EDUCATION, BUT TO GO BEYOND THE STANDARDS. STUDENTS RECEIVE A STRONG EDUCATION IN THE BASICS: READING, WRITING, MATH, HISTORY AND SCIENCE. IN ADDITION, THE ARTS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT, AND STUDENTS ARE ENGAGED IN MUSIC AND ART LESSONS ON AN ONGOING BASIS. THE ACADEMY IS DEDICATED TO EDUCATING THE WHOLE CHILD: MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT.
