BITS & PEACES IS DEDICATED TO RESCUING, REHABILITATING, AND PROVIDING A SANCTUARY FOR EQUINES WHILE LEVERAGING THEIR THERAPEUTIC POTENTIAL TO EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS FACING MENTAL HEALTH CHALLENGES AND NURTURING YOUTH DEVELOPMENT. OUR THERAPEUTIC PROGRAMS ARE UNIQUELY DESIGNED TO ENHANCE THE PHYSICAL, MENTAL, OR BEHAVIORAL WELLBEING OF OUR EQUINE COUNTERPARTS THROUGH ACTIVITIES THAT ARE MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL TO HUMANS. OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT SERVICES INCLUDE EQUINE AND LARGE ANIMAL INTAKE AND REHABILITATION, EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPEUTIC SERVICES, YOUTH CAMPS AND HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS.

EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY SERVICES. WE PROVIDED EQUINE ASSISTED THERAPY SERVICES TO THREE DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT ADDICTION RECOVERY ORGANIZATIONS. THIS PROGRAM INVOLVES REHABILITATING OUR RESCUE HORSES WHILE WORKING ON PERSONAL GROWTH AND DISCOVERY. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE GROUP SESSIONS DESIGNED AND CATERED TO THE RECOVERY CENTER AND THEIR CLIENTS' NEEDS.
HORSEMANSHIP LESSONS. WE PROVIDE HORSEMANSHIP AND RIDING LESSONS TO GROUPS AND INDIVIDUALS WITH THE MAJORITY OF SERVICES GEARED TOWARDS YOUTH.
