THE MISSION OF THE CHRISTIAN IMMIGRATION ADVOCACY CENTER (CIAC) IS TO PROVIDE LOW-COST AND PRO-BONO IMMIGRATION RELATED LEGAL SERVICES TO IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES IN THE PITTSBURGH REGION. WE BELIEVE THAT BECAUSE GOD FREELY WELCOMES US INTO HIS HEAVENLY FAMILY, WE ARE PRIVILEGED TO WELCOME THE FOREIGNER LIVING AMONGST US. OUR FAITH PROMPTS US TO WELCOME OUR NEIGHBORS WITH THE LOVE OF CHRIST IN EVERY ENDEAVOR WE UNDERTAKE IN LIFE. CIAC FULFILLS THIS MANDATE BY SERVING OUR IMMIGRANT AND REFUGEE NEIGHBORS THROUGH THE PRACTICE OF IMMIGRATION LAW. OUR LEGAL SERVICES RANGE FROM OBTAINING/RENEWING A GREEN CARD, FILING FOR CITIZENSHIP, FAMILY REUNIFICATION, VISAS, ASYLUM, AND FULL REPRESENTATION IN THE IMMIGRATION COURTS. WE ARE A DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION, AND AS SUCH, SERVE PRIMARILY CLIENTS OF LIMITED MEANS.

CIAC PROVIDES QUALITY, AFFORDABLE AND COMPASSIONATE LEGAL AID TO IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES. THE NONPROFIT ASSISTS WITH APPLICATIONS SUCH AS CITIZENSHIP, GREEN CARDS AND FAMILY REUNIFICATION AS WELL AS ASYLUM AND REPRESENTATION AT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE.
THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES FOR A NOMINAL FEE TO OVER 500 IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES FROM 40 DIFFERENT COUNTRIES OVER THE PAST 4 YEARS.
