THE HUMAN MILK REPOSITORY OF NEW MEXICO (HMRNM) PROVIDES HUMAN MILK TO PRETERM, MEDICALLY FRAGILE, AND SICK INFANTS USING EVIDENCE-BASED TECHNIQUES TO PROCESS AND DISTRIBUTE HUMAN MILK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HUMAN MILK BANK ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA GUIDELINES. HMRNM WORKS TO ADVOCATE FOR BREASTFEEDING IN THE COMMUNITY ALONG WITH SUPPORT FOR ONGOING HUMAN LACTATION IN AN EQUITABLE AND ETHICAL MANNER TO PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY OF HUMAN DONOR MILK WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. OUR FOCUS IS ON ENSURING ACCESS TO HUMAN MILK FOR OUR MOST FRAGILE FAMILY AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE AT THEIR MOST VULNERABLE.
