THE PORT ARANSAS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO RAISE FUNDS THAT WILL BE USED AND ALLOCATED WITHIN THE PORT ARANSAS COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH ARTS, CULTURAL, EDUCATION, BUSINESS AND AREAS OF COMMUNITY NEED. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION WILL DISTRIBUTE FUNDS IN THE AREA OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND COMMUNITY DISASTER RELIEF.

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM - THE FOUNDATION OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PORT ARANSAS INDEPENDANT SCHOOL DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS. THE SCHOLARSHIP COMMITEE REVIEWS APPLICATIONS FROM THE SCHOOL DISTRICT AND AWARDS ANNUALLY TO GRADUATING SENIORS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDES SMALLER RENEWAL SCHOLARSHIPS FOR PAST RECIPIENTS STILL PURSUING THEIR EDUCATION.
