PROMOTING CITIZEN INTEREST AND PARTICIPATION IN THE APPRECIATION AND PRESERVATION OF PORT ARANSAS' HISTORY, ENVIRONMENT AND AMBIANCE.

SUPPORT MILITARY VETERANS AND THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING FOOD AND CLOTHING TO THE NEEDY AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO PROMOTE SECONDARY EDUCATION.

THE PORT ARANSAS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO RAISE FUNDS THAT WILL BE USED AND ALLOCATED WITHIN THE PORT ARANSAS COMMUNITY TO ENHANCE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH ARTS, CULTURAL, EDUCATION, BUSINESS AND AREAS OF COMMUNITY NEED. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION WILL DISTRIBUTE FUNDS IN THE AREA OF SCHOLARSHIPS AND COMMUNITY DISASTER RELIEF.

PROVIDING BENEVOLENT AND SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS STRENGTHEN THE MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PAPD AND THE PUBLIC IT SERVES. RAISE AWARENESS OF THE OUTSTANDING SERVICE THE PAPD PROVIDES TO OUR COMMUNITIES. THE FOUNDATION IS AN INDEPENDENT 501 (C) (3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION PROVIDING SUPPORT FOR EFFORTS THAT ENHANCE POLICE/COMMUNITY RELATIONS, CRIME PREVENTION, AND PUBLIC SAFETY THROUGH GRANT FUNDING FOR SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT, TRAINING, AND COOPERATIVE COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.
