BUILDING HEALTHIER, MORE EQUITABLE WORKPLACES: EMPOWER WORK PROVIDES SUPPORT VIA SMS FOR WORKERS FACING CRITICAL WORK ISSUES. TRAINED VOLUNTEER PEER COUNSELORS COMBINE COACHING AND RESOURCES TO HELP SOMEONE TAKE A NEXT STEP, IMPROVING THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND ECONOMIC WELL-BEING.

EMPOWER WORK IS ON A MISSION TO BUILD HEALTHIER, MORE EQUITABLE WORKPLACES WHERE EMPLOYEES ARE VALUED, SUPPORTED, AND EMPOWERED. OUR APPROACH FUELS POSITIVE CHANGE IN THREE WAYS: 1) IMPROVED ECONOMIC AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING FOR UNDER-SERVED WORKERS VIA IMMEDIATE, CONFIDENTIAL SMS/CHAT SUPPORT, 2) IMPROVED WORKPLACE PRACTICES THROUGH TRAINING FOR VOLUNTEER PEER COUNSELORS AND COMPANIES CREATING A RIPPLE EFFECT ACROSS WORKPLACES, AND 3) SYSTEMIC WORKPLACE CHANGE AS OUR DATA AND STORYTELLING INFORM NEW APPROACHES & POLICY. IN 2022, WE SUPPORTED 140% MORE WORKERS THAN 2021 - MORE THAN 900,000. 91% REPORTED IMPROVED MENTAL HEALTH. OVER 90% OF VOLUNTEERS REPORT THAT TRAINING HAS IMPROVED THEIR WORK RELATIONSHIPS.
