THRIVE WORKSHOPS - IN 2021, OVERCOMERS GIFTED 49 PARTICIPANTS MAKEUP KITS WORTH APPROXIMATELY 470 EACH. PARTICIPANTS LEARN ABOUT SKIN CARE AND MAKEUP APPLICATION TO HELP RESTORE A SENSE OF CONFIDENCE, MEANWHILE EDUCATING THEM ON MAKING POSITIVE, SAFE CHOICES TO LIVE A HEALTHIER AND LESS HARMFUL LIFE. THE MAKEUP KITS WERE POSSIBLE BECAUSE OF GENEROUS COSMETIC PRODUCT DONATIONS RECEIVED FROM THRIVE COSMETICS AND GOOD 360. THE EXPENSE OF 23,030 INCLUDES THE FAIR VALUE OF PRODUCT USED IN THRIVE WORKSHOPS HELD IN 2021.
PINK UNDER THE TREE - IN 2021, OVERCOMERS BLESSED 46 FAMILIES FROM THE SAN ANTONIO BREAST CANCER COMMUNITY WITH PRESENTS FOR THE HOLIDAYS. EXPENSES INCLUDE PRESENTS, AND MEAL SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILIES. FAMILIES SERVED IN THIS PROGRAM MET STRICT GUIDELINES SET BY OVERCOMERS AND ARE NOMINATED BY LOCAL NURSE NAVIGATORS.
SURVIVOR WORKSHOPS - IN 2021, OVERCOMERS HOSTED 29 BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS IN A BIANNUAL WORKSHOP TO MENTOR AND ASSIST IN THEIR BREAST CANCER JOURNEYS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE: MEAL SUPPORT PROVIDED TO FAMILIES; AS WELL AS SPEAKERS FOR VIRTUAL EDUCATION EVENTS.
