THE ND-ISAC PROVIDES DEFENSE SECTOR STAKEHOLDERS A COMMUNITY AND FORUM FOR SHARING CYBER AND PHYSICAL SECURITY THREAT INFORAMTION, BEST PRACTICES, AND MITIGATION STRATEGIES. THIS COMMUNITY AND FORUM SERVES AS THE DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL BASE (DIB) SECTOR'S CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION OPERATIONAL MECHANISM.
DIBSCC - THE DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL BASE SECTOR COORDINATING COUNCIL (DIB SCC) SUSTAINS THE SECURITY, RESILIENCE, AND CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROTECTION ADVANCES OF THE U.S. DEFENSE INDUSTRY, BOTH AS AN INDUSTRY COORDINATING BODY WITHIN THE DIB SECTOR, AND IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DIB SECTOR RISK MANAGEMENT AGENCY (SRMA) AND THE DIB GOVERNMENT COORDINATING COUNCIL (DIB GCC). THE NATIONAL DEFENSE ISAC MAINTAINS RELEVANT COORDINATION AND OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE DIB SCC AS THE SECTOR'S INFORMATION SHARING, ANALYSIS, AND OPERATIONAL MECHANISM.
