FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM TRAINS THE NEXT GENERATION OF ORGANIZERS AND OPERATIVES TO CLOSE THE WORKFORCE GAP IN THE PROGRESSIVE COMMUNITY IN IDAHO. THE FUNDS FOR THIS PROGRAM WILL GO PRIMARILY TOWARD STIPENDS FOR FELLOWS TO COVER LIVING EXPENSES WHILE PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAM. A POOL OF PROFESSIONAL TALENT ABLE TO CONDUCT POLICY, ELECTORAL, AND ADVOCACY PROGRAMS IS NECESSARY IN EXECUTING ANY MEANINGFUL PROGRAMMING.
SUMMER ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM - THIS PROGRAM FOCUSED ON INCREASING CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND EFFICACY FOR THE NEW AMERICAN MAJORITY (NAM) - SINGLE WOMEN, PEOPLE OF COLOR, 18-34-YEAR-OLDS, AND INFREQUENT VOTERS - IN TARGETED REGIONS THROUGHOUT IDAHO. OUR GOAL IN THIS PROGRAM WILL BE TO REACH OUT TO THESE PEOPLE, PROVIDE THEM INFORMATION ABOUT THE ISSUES THAT EFFECT THEM AND PROVIDE THEM WITH THE TOOLS AND INFORMATION THEY NEED BECOME MORE CIVILLY ENGAGED.
DATA BASE MANAGEMENT AND PARTNER GUIDANCE - OUR PARTNERS DEPEND ON ACCESS TO THE VOTER AND ACTIVIST DATABASE WE MANAGE, TRAINING ON USING THE DATABASE AND THE TOOLS IT PROVIDES, AND ADVICE AND EXPERTISE ON USING THE DATA BASE FOR OUR PARTNERS' PROGRAMS. THIS REQUIRES SIGNIFICANT STAFF TIME.
