IN MEMORY OF SIERAH JOUGHIN, THE ORGANIZATION TAKES A MULTIFACETED APPROACH TOWARDS CREATING SAFE COMMUNITIES THROUGH EMPOWERMENT, EDUCATION & ADVOCACY. THE ORGANIZATION IS FOCUSED ON PREVENTING ASSAULTS & ABDUCTIONS & ESTABLISHING SYSTEMS FOR QUICKER RECOVERY IF SOMEONE IS IN DANGER. THE ORGANIZATION STRIVES TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE GROW, LEARN & THRIVE WITHIN SAFE & SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITIES.

THE "SIERAH STRONG" SELF-AWARENESS & DEFENSE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED TO THE COMMUNITY FREE OF CHARGE. THE ORGANIZATION TEACHES YOUNG PEOPLE AGES 6 - 16 HOW TO DEFEND THEMSELVES IN DANGEROUS SITUATIONS & PROVIDES LAMINATED KIDPRINT IDS THAT FEATURE THE CHILD'S PHOTO, FINGERPRINT & VITAL STATISTICS TO HELP FIND A MISSING CHILD.ALMOST 900 YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE BEEN TAUGHT VALUABLE SKILLS THRU THE SIERAH STRONG PROGRAM SINCE ITS INCEPTION IN 2019.DUE TO THE SUCCESS OF THE SIERAH STRONG COMMUNITY PROGRAM, THE "SIERAH STRONG FOR THE SCHOOLS" PROGRAM HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO BRING SELF-AWARENESS & DEFENSE TRAINING INTO SCHOOLS.


IN DECEMBER 2018, AFTER EDUCATING OHIO LAWMAKERS ON THE VALUE OF A VIOLENT OFFENDER DATABASE IN PROVIDING COMMUNITY AWARENESS & EXPEDITING THE PROCESS OF FUNDING KIDNAPPED INDIVIDUALS, "SIERAH'S LAW" WAS PASSED UNANIMOUSLY IN THE OHIO HOUSE WITH A VOTE OF 85-0. THE PASSAGE OF SIERAH'S LAW CREATED A DATABASE THAT CAN NOW BE USED BY LAW ENFORCEMENT & EVERYDAY CITIZENS TO FIND OUT WHERE VIOLENT OFFENDERS LIVE IN OUR COMMUNITIES.
